Caution Waste Pipe Above Floor

This can be a problem when changing a bathroom to a shower room. If we are unable to change the waste pipe back to the soil pipe or an external drain then the height of the shower tray will be dictated by the current height of the bath waste pipe.
Reasons – If it is first floor bathroom and there is an outside extension roof that encapsulates the pipe work, without opening the extension ceiling we will be unable to lower or change the waste pipe to the shower
If it is a ground floor bathroom and the waste runs in to an area we cannot access, we will not be able to lower the waste pipe to the shower.
We will get the shower tray as low as possible working with the restrictions.
